As most of you know, I was on the 2007 Homecoming Central Committee, which is where you plan and execute ISU's Homecoming. Homecoming was for an entire week (October 15-20) and I had a blast... sorta. Let's just say that we could've used better weather. It was a great experience and I'm glad I did it, but I wouldn't want to do it again.
Waiting on the steps of Curtiss Hall, sporting our Homecoming Central t-shirt (that we had only one of and had to wear ALL week) before Blue Sky Days got underway. I'm sporting my white sunglasses as always.
Me, Laura and Kaitlyn. Laura was our Cy-Captain, which is pretty much an assigned helper when we need her, and Kaitlyn was my co-chair for our event, Food on Campus. Food on Campus was held every day of Homecoming week and we served food on Central Campus to everyone that bought a Homecoming button.
Food on Campus sight where I lived all week. This is the last day of Food on Campus and Kaitlyn and I decided to do karaoke together before saying goodbye to each other and Homecoming. I was cracking up in this picture because of how bad we were singing.
The lovely rain that Kaitlyn and I got well acquainted with during the week of Homecoming. Those trucks would be the grillers sticking it out in the pouring rain. This day was our big "150th BBQ" since this year was the 150th year of ISU. It rained the most and hardest this day. It rained ever day except Friday (the last day). We were cold and wet, but continued to serve a large number of people for the weather.
That would be me, sporting the birthday celebration hats and wet shoes and jeans. No worries... I still had a positive attitude.
HCC (Homecoming Central Committee) members at the Residence Hall BBQ. The Nadas performed that night.
It was absolutely gorgeous out for the football game on Saturday. Simply perfect weather! This would be Kaitlyn and I at the stadium before getting announced on the field.
Ashley and I waiting on the field to get announced. She was a HCC member that became one of my good friends.

We've had to cater some big parties in the rain so I know what you went thru and it can be a real drag. I can see your big ole grin in most of the pics so you must be having a great time. You karoke? That I would like to hear!!!!!
