Tour of Rod and Connie French's Athletic Academic Center

I was fortunate enough to be able to tour Rod and Connie French Athletic Academic Center with Rod French himself. Here are some pictures of Rod's Athletic Academic Center:

Mr. Rod French himself. He's such a nice and
thoughtful man.

Back view of Rod's building.

Entrance into the Academic Success Center

One of several beautiful tables that portrays Iowa
State. Rod said that a woman out of Des Moines
put these tables together. "These cost me a fortune,
but they're well worth, I'll tell you what!" - Rod

Donald Reed on the far left is the one guiding the tour
and explaining the LCD television to Rod. The other
gentlemen are Rod's collegues.

I can't remember the dimensions of this flat screen
television, but I have to say it's the biggest one I've
seen in person. When Donald Reed was explaining how
the TV is LCD and has all these amazing features, Rod looked
at me and asked, "what does that mean?" and I replied with
"it's a really nice TV." "Oh... okay."

One of the study/computer labs that have indivudual
cubbies with each cubby having their own computer.

The other half of the study room/computer lab. The room
is supervised to make sure kids are on task and not
disrupting others.

Main/first floor of Hixson-Lied Student Success Center.
Second floor is devoted to Rod and his wife, Connie.

First floor looking outside at MWL through the front
windows. Not sure what the statue was of, but thought
it was unique looking.

Ground floor that consists of two large classrooms,
furniture and vending for all students.
